£3 Bus Fare Cap
The current £3 cap for a single bus journey, due to end in December 2025, has now been extended to 31 March 2027. The cap applies to all participating bus companies in England including Brighton & Hove, Stagecoach and Cuckmere Buses.
"Our Ward councillor for Wealden, David Greaves,
has advised that grant funding is still available
directly to local organisations.
Two clubs have already taken advantage of this
funding and although the South Downs Ward
funding has been exhausted, surplus funds from
other wards are available to those who have not already applied."
