Welcome to our walks and nature section, where you can find out about some of the best walks and nature spots around East Dean, Friston, the Seven Sisters and the South Downs.

Local resident Patrick Coulcher has kindly granted us permission to make five of the walks from his popular book 'Wildlife Walks Around The Cuckmere Valley' available on this website.

The basic directions and maps are available to download from this site, and will enable you to follow Patrick's walks with no problems.
