Welcome - we hope you will find the information here both interesting and useful.
Neighbourhood Watch is about the safety of the individual as well as the community as a whole, therefore, our NHW scheme is not totally Police/Crime orientated. "Looking after each other" is the key and that is why we have digressed into other areas including "safety in the home" and "fire prevention advice" which are of help in the community.

Our current membership stands at 669 households in East Dean, Friston, Birling Gap & Crowlink.

The local association is represented at some village events, where crime prevention advice and literature are available. Items such as shed alarms and personal alarms are on show and available for purchase.

Membership costs £1 which provides:-
· A Welcome Pack containing useful leaflets
· Free property marker pen
· Twice-yearly Newsletter
· Prompt receipt of crime related information and news.
